Robert J. Auger, MS, LMFT is a marriage and family therapist who partners with Brian in the practice at Arbor Clinical Associates. Bob has experienced congregational ministry in professional and lay roles in youth, music and in church planting capacities. Bob’s orientation to systems theory has been helpful in working with small groups within the church to help people understand areas of conflict and discern next steps toward growth and healing. Bob lives in Chicago with his wife Deb and his four children, Hannah (22), Sam (20), Zachary (17), and Libby (14).
Brian T. Madvig, MDiv, PhD
Brian T. Madvig, MDiv, PhD has been mediating conflict within churches and other organizations for over eight years. He earned a certificate in Mediation Skills Training from the Northwestern University School of Continuing Studies. Brian is a member of the Chicago Chapter of the Association for Conflict Resolution. He is also a clinical psychologist and founder of Arbor Clinical Associates, a private mental health practice with offices in Northfield, Illinois, Wheaton, Illinois, and the north side of Chicago. Growing up in the church, he has experience working with congregations as a member, as a youth minister, and as a consultant to churches in the midst of conflict. He served on the Board of the Ordered Ministry of the Evangelical Covenant Church for five years. Brian lives in Wilmette, IL with his wife Meg and his children, Sam and Chloe.
